Sie geht der Forschungsfrage nach, welche Aspekte der Übergangsbegleitung vom Kindergarten in die Grundschule für Teilhabe und Bildungschancen bedeutsam und appropriate sind.
Im Verlauf der ungleichheitstheoretisch und pädagogisch ausgerichteten Arbeit bieten diese theoretischen Ansatzpunkte für die Übergangsgestaltung weitere Aspekte, die berücksichtigt werden können (u.a. werden die Begriffe Habitus und Kapital nach Pierre Bourdieu).
Neben den beteiligten Bildungsorten und dem zugrunde liegenden Bildungsverständnis werden die aktiven Akteure der Transition sowie die begleitenden Akteure beleuchtet.
Im Weiteren wird der Frage nachgegangen, welche Kompetenzen und Ressourcen für den Übergang suitable sind und es erfolgt eine examine der Ursachen der Bildungsbenachteiligung. Die vorliegende Arbeit möchte hierzu mögliche Antworten geben und verborgene Mechanismen der Bildungsbenachteiligung im Übergangskontext aufdecken, um etwaige Ursachen von Bildungsbenachteiligung zu bergen (vgl.
